URBAN, Charles “Chuck,” 6/22/1939 – 2/1/2024, age 84, of Omaha, Neb., passed away peacefully at home with his family nearby on February 1, 2024. He bravely fought bladder cancer for the past year.
Survivors include his children; Terri Urban of Omaha, Mick (Patricia) Urban of Topeka and Brent (Kellie) Urban of Omaha. In addition, three grandsons; Brandon (Amanda) Urban, Andrew (Taylor) Urban and Ian (Macy) Urban all of Omaha. Nieces, Kristen (Steve) Schmitz and Laura (Will) Thompson. And six great-grandchildren who brought Chuck so much joy. Also, dear friends; Carrie and Jim Maxon, the Heinz ‘57s and so many loved relatives and friends throughout the country.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jackie; and wife, Janice in 2018.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Endless Journey and True North Caregivers for helping clear a path for Chuck’s final journey.
At his request, Chuck will be cremated. There will not be a formal service.
