Charles “Chuck” A. Kitzman, 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation will be held at the Noelridge Christian Church, 7111 C Ave., NE, Cedar Rapids, on Monday, Oct. 2, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m.
Chuck was born on Jan. 16, 1937, in Sigourney, Iowa. He was the son of the late Dale and Irene (Stanley) Kitzman. On May 26, 1955, Chuck married the love of his life, Neisha Molyneux. He loved every sport that happens to have a ball, especially bowling, golfing and football. He was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Green Bay Packers.
Those left to cherish Chuck’s memory are his wife, Neisha of Cedar Rapids; his children, Jeff Kitzman of Cypress, Texas, and Cindy (Paul) Swenka of Robins, Iowa; his grandchild, Faith (Jason) Jaekel, of Cypress, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Craig Kitzman; and his siblings, Marlene Sibert and Roberta Haupert.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Community Health Free Clinic or the Noelridge Christian Church.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Promedica Hospice.
