Charles Broch Crawford
CHARLES BROCH CRAWFORD Marion Charles Broch Crawford of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Marion, Iowa, and Woodland Park, Colo., passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the age of 64, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Broch was born on July 25, 1950, in Hot Springs, S.D., grew up in Rapid City, S.D., and spent most of his life in Woodland Park, Colo., where he pursued his passion for bowling as an owner and operator of Woodlanes Bowl. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Teresa Etscheidt Crawford; daughter, Nicole Ferrer; son-in-law, Devin; three siblings, Marcelene Olson, Charlene Magstadt and Brett Karjalainen; mother-in-law; four brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelene Fleming Karjalainen and Charles Burt Crawford. Broch was a great family man and a loving father. He loved the Colorado clean air, bowling, the Yankees and a cold Coors Light. Our memories of Broch will be everlastingly cherished and never forgotten. A private service is planned in July to celebrate Broch's life.
