Benjamin had an extraordinary imagination and creativeness, as evidenced by his children's names. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music and video games, deer hunting with his dad, and Iowa thunderstorms. He loved being with his family. He spent countless hours with them, having campfires in the backyard and playing “make believe” games to spark their imaginations. His smile lit up the room wherever he went. Benjamin will be fondly remembered for his gentle character and genuine care for those whose paths he crossed. He is loved and will be missed greatly.
Memorial donations may be made in Ben's memory to Carl Darnell Hospital, Attn: The Fisher House, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168.
