Cejka, Dixie L.
Dixie L. Cejka, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, in her home following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Surviving are her children, Dan Perrin and wife Terri of Center Point, Mike Perrin and wife Melissa of Anamosa, Travis Cejka and Heidi Sauer and husband Pete, all of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Helen Irene Perrin; sisters, Mary Jones, Patricia Pierce, Deborah Whitting and Kelly (Mark) Homewood; and one brother, David Perrin.
She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her former husband, David Cejka.
She was preceded in death by her father, Junior; and her sister, Gerri Titus.
Dixie Lee Cejka was born March 22, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Junior and Helen I. (Blozvich) Perrin. She spent much of her life working in her home and caring for her children. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial fund has been established.
