Cecil A. Organ, 83, of rural Solon, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018.
A memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, with burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Iowa City. (Sunday parking ordinance will be in effect for the streets near the church.) Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Iowa City, Solon Optimist Club or Mercy Hospital Foundation.
