Catherine “Kate” Doyle, of Ryan, Iowa, passed away peacefully on July 6 at Mercy Hospice House.
Kate was born and raised in Ryan, Iowa. She married Robert “Jerry” Doyle on May 12, 1962. The couple welcomed three sons.
Kate was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She took great pride in her family. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Doyle; three sons, David (Kim) of Coggon, Danny (Jill) of Farley and DJ (Bonnie) of Iowa City; eight grandchildren, Jon (Amy) Doyle, Kristin (Travis) Voss, Mary Kate (Lake) Rabel, Mackenzie Doyle, Maggie Doyle, Connor Doyle, Jacob Doyle, and Jack Doyle; six great grandchildren, Kyle Doyle, Ava Voss, Ryne Doyle, Everly Voss, Flynn Doyle and May Rabel.
Kate was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Irene Burke; brothers, Jim (Pat) Burke, Ronnie (Kay) Burke, Bernard Burke; and sister, Mary Jo (Pat) Woods.
There are no services planned. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.iowacremation.com A mass of Intention for Kate will be said on Sunday, August 11 at 8:30 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hiawatha.
