Catherine Watson, 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at St. Luke’s Hospital. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, December 21, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Private interment will be held later.
Cathy was born on December 12, 1951, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Cletus and Catherine (Halligan) Nannemann. She was married to Michael Watson in November 1976.
Cathy is survived by her children, Michael Watson, Chad (Mindy) Watson, Eric (Candace) Watson, Bryon (Angie) Watson, Robert (Arielle) Watson, Sean (Nancy) Watson, and Leah (Mitch) Johnson; grandchildren, Kylie, Brianna, Kullen, Leone, Harlynn, Julian, Sara (Juan), Lily, Joey, Corrina, Everett, Rory, and Charline; and great-grandchildren, Juan and Nellie.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Watson in 2006, and brother; James Nannemann.
