Mark Casterton, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Dec. 27, 2013, while vacationing in Wickenburg, Ariz.
Mark was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Harmony, Minn., to Vernon and Wilma (Schneekloth) Casterton. He graduated from Crestwood High School in Cresco, Iowa in 1977. He had a lifelong love of horses and was an avid rider. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, woodworking and he especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Alaina.
He leaves behind four children, Jessica Pullman of Protivin, Kayla Carroll of Harmony, Minn., Amanda Casterton of Moline, Ill., and Wade Casterton of Decorah and their respective families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his older sister, Linda .
Per his wishes, he was cremated and a private celebration of life will be held with friends and family at a later date.
