Jeff co-owned and operated The Bitchen Kitchen, with his life partner, Vicky, where he was known for his amazing and delicious food. He was a member of the Iowa Pyrotechnies Association and the Eagles Club. He played pool in CR Pool Leagues for 30 years. Jeff loved playing poker, fishing, camping, canoeing, firework shows, road trips, live music (especially his daughter, Janelle), Bingo and PBR.
Jeff is survived by his life partner and best friend for 30 years, Vicky Lyon; his mother, Erma J. Cartano; daughters, Janelle (Gerard) Lauer and Sasha (Jamie) Lerch; son, Shay (Melissa) Lyon; and grandchildren, Savannah, AJ, Shayla, Jacob, Haven, Seth, Sadie and Jace.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Guy Cartano.
Jeff will be greatly missed by many friends and family. A special thanks to Mercy Hospice for all their help and support.
A memorial fund has been set up in Jeff's name.
