Carson, John R. 'Jack'
John R. “Jack” Carson, 70, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Washington County Hospital after failing in health for the past four months. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial: Elm Grove Cemetery.

Jack is survived by his brother, William D. Carson and wife Patricia of Chariton; sister, Mary M. Meeks and husband Max of Republic, Mo.; sister, Christine L. Carson of Washington, Iowa; four nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
