Carson and Claire DeJoode, Carson and Claire DeJoode
Carson DeJoode, 5, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, and Claire DeJoode, 5 months, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010, from injuries suffered in a car accident. A visitation for Carson and Claire will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at Christian Life Center (part of Ankeny First United Methodist Church), 710 NE 36th St., Ankeny, Iowa. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Life Center. Burial will be in Ankeny Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include their parents, Troy and Heather DeJoode, and brother, Chase, 3, of Ankeny; grandparents, Mark and Sandy Eccles of Cedar Rapids and Arnie and Pat DeJoode of Cedar Falls; uncle and aunt, Adam and Liz DeJoode of Cedar Falls; great-grandparents, Guy and Mary Ellen Eccles of Rolfe, Lois DeJoode of St. Peters, Mo., and Ormal and Lucille Guinn of Armstrong.
Carson and Claire's memories will live on through organ donation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Carson and Claire are being accepted at any Des Moines-area Veridian Credit Union.
