Carroll Vikel passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on August 18, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on January 30, 1939, in Iowa City.
Carroll lived a life full of passion and dedication. He was known for his love of building and restoring Oliver tractors, a hobby that brought him great joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared his enthusiasm.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leona; brother, Gerald; children, Tami and Tracy; granddaughter, Alexa. He is survived by his wife Linda of 60 years; his son, Trent; grandchildren, Chelsey (Seth), Casey, and Colin; and many great-grandchildren.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Iowa City Hospice and Celebrate Life Cremation Service for their compassionate care and support.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM at their farm in Tiffin. Carroll will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
