Blanche Louise Carr, 96, of Manchester, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester. Funeral Service: Blanche Louise Carr, 96, of Manchester, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at United Methodist Church, Manchester, with the Rev. Jill Mack officiating. Friends may call an hour before service time Wednesday at the church. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Survivors include one daughter, Berniece (Robert) Albright of Spirit Lake; a son-in-law, Duane McLean of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, Melinda (Craig) Ozaki, Valerie (Steven) Peters, Deanna (Darin) Prail, Chad (Mera) McLean, Paul (Renada) McLean and John (Mandy) McLean; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Fern Cody of Fort Myers, Fla.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Paul in 2007; a daughter, Betty McLean; and brothers, Norman Mangold, Loren (Lillian) Mangold and Wilbur (Donna) Mangold.
Blanche enjoyed cooking, flowers, gardening and playing cards.
In lieu of flowers, please designate memorial to the Good Neighbor Home.
