Carolyn Phyllis Moyer, 81, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at her home. Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at Powell Funeral Home in North English. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at South English Cemetery.
Memorials are for Mahaska County Hospice.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert of North English; a son, Robert Randal (Valerie) Moyer of Iowa City; two daughters, Suzanne Louise (Stephen) Hedges of Oxford and Cynthia Ellen (Irvin) Hovell of Galesville, Wis.; and three grandsons, Michael Hedges, Travis Hedges and Erik Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Russell, Wesley and Keith Braia; and a sister, Patricia Burleigh.
