Carolyn Hope Lumm, 74,
of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022. A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at a later date.
Carolyn was born on May 20, 1947, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Carolyn Caster. In 1970, she married Larry Lumm. They raised their family in the Cedar Rapids area. Carolyn worked in retail for many years before becoming a realtor. Carolyn enjoyed her many animals, taking walks with her dogs, spending time with her family and living her faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Carolyn is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Larry; her three daughters, Christina Lumm, Lauri Lumm and Sherrie (Max) Mauren; her granddaughter, Gabby; her grandson, John; special family friend, Chris Usher; and all her extended family.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to the family or to Fur Fun Rescue.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Hospice for taking such good care of Carolyn.
