Caroline Jene Stahr, 86, originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday July 15, 2015, in Park Ridge Nursing & Rehab in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Cedar Memorial Chapel
of Memories; services will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. The Rev. James Coyle will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include a sister, Marie O'Neal of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Robby (Al) Jones of Des Moines; daughter-in-law, Trudy Stahr of Cedar Rapids; and son-in-law, Larry Heggebo Sr. of Waterloo. Also surviving are grandchildren, Travis (Jackie) Jones, Brenda Jones, Leland Stahr, Joe Stahr, Larry Heggebo, Brad (Trisha) Heggebo and Tracy Heggebo; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Junior Stahr; her son, Butch Stahr; and her daughter, Lavinia Heggebo.
Caroline was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Middlefield, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Sarah (Bergstrom) Patterson. She married Henry Junior Stahr on June 29, 1946, in Spokane, Wash.
