Carole Ann Weber, 77 of Robins, Iowa passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Per the family’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Carole was born on May 2, 1947, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Eileen (O’Connor) McGraw, one of seven children. Carole attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School in 1965. After high school she attended Dubuque Beauty Academy and then moved to Cedar Rapids where she worked as a beautician at Armstrong’s.
On April 24, 1971, Carole was united in marriage to Loras “Butch” Weber at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Butch and Carole made their home in Robins, where Carole ensured that the home and gardens were always beautiful. After raising their four children, Carole and Butch enjoyed time spent with their grandchildren and extended family as well as their winters in Arizona and Florida.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Loras “Butch” Weber; her four children, Kristen Weber (Edward Zelasko) of Chicago, Nicole Kubešová (Matej Kubeš) of Častá, Slovakia, Jon (Randi) Weber of Swisher, and Kaitlyn Weber (Israel Higuera) of San Diego; her three grandchildren, Lucia Anna Kubešová, Matej Július Joseph (JJ) Kubeš, and Charlie Ann Weber; her siblings, Colleen (Richard) McGraw, Jan (Larry) Wickman, Jim (Kandice) McGraw, and Jeff (Becky) McGraw; in-laws: Lloyd Funke, Carlyn Wessel, Mary (Tim) Cooney, Michael (Ginny) Weber, Joanne (Peter) Weber, Linda (Kevin) Fergesen; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so very much.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Eileen McGraw; her parents-in-law, Carl Weber and Anna Weber Recker; brother, John McGraw, sister Connie Funke, brother-in-law, Richard Warfield; in-laws Robert Weber, Sharon Mattern, Joe (Lavonne) Weber, and Ann (William) Schrader.
Carole was an incredibly fun, funny, vibrant, creative person and a friend to many. She loved travel, reading, classical music, her grandchildren, and anything Irish. Her blue eyes and beautiful smile will be terribly missed and remembered forever.
