Carol Williamson of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Walker, Iowa, passed away Nov. 8, 2021, at West Ridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids. Per her wishes, there will be no services. Cedar Memorial is assisting the family with arrangements.
Health issues that Carol faced at a rather early age affected her quality of life
and knowing she is no longer in pain brings comfort to her family. Carol's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Mercy and West Ridge Care Center for the compassionate care she received the past four years.
She is survived by her husband, Clair; son, Scott (Deborah) of Cedar Rapids; stepson, Martin (Amy) of Alvin, Texas; stepdaughter, Kristal (Randy) Zieser of Cedar Rapids; nine granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Sam (Kathy) Dronebarger of Cedar Rapids, and Patsy (Butch) Nuemeyer of Walker, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oval and Hallie Dronebarger.
