Carol Sue (Koudelka) Wilson, 77, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Linn Manor Care Center, Marion. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her sons, Brian (Michelle) Wilson and Jeff (Sheila) Novak; grandchildren, Bella (Damian Vargas), Melanie (Lucca) Prietz, Anna Wilson, and Kyle Wilson; great-grandson, Milan; and sister, Kay (Tom) Oloff.
Carol was born on March 20, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Wesley and DeVota (Coghlan) Koudelka. She graduated from Jefferson High School and then later with honors from Mt. Mercy University. Carol worked as an office administrator for area businesses lastly with the Igram family at Cedar Graphics.
Carol was an active member of Lovely Lane United Methodist Church. She enjoyed all music, watching movies, reading, knitting, making homemade soaps and lotions, world discovery, and cooking. Carol loved to feed her family and friends, always showing up with something for everyone to enjoy, especially her cheesecake. She loved spending time with any and all pets, especially her faithful companions, Gabby and Sasha. Her kindness and love will be missed by those close to her.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and DeVota Koudelka.
Carol’s family extends a sincere thank-you to the nurses and staff of Linn Manor and Hospice of Mercy
for their compassionate care during her illness.
