Carol M. Yeisley, 74, of Marion, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Per her wishes, Carol will be cremated and there will be no services. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Carol was born May 2, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Rudolph and Ludmilla (Andrle) Novak. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1961. Carol married Phillip Yeisley on July 28, 1961, in Cedar Rapids. She loved animals and trips to the casino. Carol had many special times with her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching them grow up.
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Corey) Seibert, Diana (Terry Smith) Yeisley and Jeff (Jamie) Yeisley; children of Teresa and Corey: Michelle, Stephanie and Michael; children of Diana and Terry: Chris, Bree, Aleah, Joe, Dustin and Samantha; children of Jeff and Jamie: Brandon, Brittney, Caelee and Codie; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene (Lois) Novak; sister, Joyce (Bob) Hay; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Phillip.
