Carol J. Brown, 82, of Anamosa, Iowa passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Pinicon Senior Living due to complications with Parkinsons and Covid. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:30 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will follow the visitation and begin at 2:30 PM with burial following the service.
Carol Brown was born December 7, 1941, on Pearl Harbor Day to Al and Adelle Duehr. Carol worked at John Deere and for Bob Brown Insurance. She lived in Dubuque, Marion and Anamosa. Carol loved traveling with Bob. She excelled as a housewife, mother and grandmother. Carol loved cooking, running a household and family. For 82 years, she was the person the family drew strength from. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Al & Adelle Duehr, and her husband, Bob Brown, the love of her life.
Carol is survived by her children, Jeff (Crystal) Brown and Jennifer (Tim) Seegmiller; grandchildren, Amanda Heeren, Samantha (Matt) Lukemyres, and Cody Koehn; siblings, Loie Gombert, Jeanie Duehr and John (Jane) Duehr.
