Carol Rose Bolsinger Henkels, 65, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood.
She was born Feb. 18, 1950, in Guttenberg, the daughter of Glen and Patricia (Leliefeld) Bolsinger. Carol graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1969. After graduation, Carol worked at Utah Electronics Factory in Guttenberg, along with El-Com and Ertl. She also was employed as a dietary aide at Guttenberg Care Center for 10 years.
In 1999, Carol took Catholic faith instruction classes with Pastoral Associate Sister Charmaine Plotz and in May 2000, she was confirmed. Carol was a very active member of St. Joseph's Parish. She served as vice president for St. Anne's Study Club, was an Altar and Rosary officer and taught CCD classes.
Carol's hobbies included playing cards, writing poems, writing letters to friends and reading. She enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs, listening to country and western music, and going to rummage sales. She also volunteered at the Greeley Senior Meal Site.
Survivors include her 12 siblings, Barb Bolsinger, Betty (Jerry) Ingles, Debra Ingles, Lori Bolsinger (Walt Smith), Norma Jean Heer, Penny (Dale) Tibbott and Joseph (Wanda) Bolsinger, all of Greeley, Rose Miller, Sally Bolsinger (Tracey Groth) and Danny (Julie) Bolsinger, all of Manchester, Dave (Bev) Bolsinger of Ryan and Donna Youngblood of Warner Robins, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Greg Heer and Jack Miller; and several nieces and nephews in infancy.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Edgewood, by the Rev. John Haugen. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, where there will be an 8 p.m. Scripture service. Friends also may call one hour before Mass at the church on Saturday. Interment: Bolsinger Cemetery, rural Colesburg.
