Carol Dahms, 73, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at the Joan and Ed Hemphill Hospice unit at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, has been entrusted with Carol's care and services.

Surviving are her husband, George; three children, Brian (Laura) Dahms of Anamosa, Larry Laughridge of Wyoming and Tammy Peterson of Anamosa; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sherry Lynn; and four brothers, Les, Dale, Jack and Jim.
Carol Sue Laughridge was born June 24, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Arlene Wasendorf Laughridge. She married George Dahms on Nov. 12, 1971, in Galena, Ill.
Carol was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
