Carol Case, 67, of North Liberty, died Saturday, July 4, 2015.
Carol was born Feb. 17, 1948, in Mellen, Wis., the daughter of Gerald and Eva Mildred (Lawver) Case. She lived in the Iowa City area for the past 45 years, working at the University of Iowa for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. She also worked and volunteered tax preparation services for many years and most recently owned and operated a craft and candle making business. Carol was a volunteer at the Iowa City Senior Center and Mercy Iowa City and a past member and officer of FOE 695.
Her family includes her children, Paul Harper-Shirk (Jeffrey) of Coralville and Paula Mackey (Steve) of St. Louis, Mo.
At Carol's request, no public services are planned. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to United Action for Youth.
