Carol J. Bryan, 76, of Bennett, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence, by Pastor Lynn Butterbrodt. Burial will be at a later date in Inland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
Born Nov. 10, 1937, in Wilton, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Frances (Longbothem) Dahl, she married Herb Bryan Jr. on March 5, 1960, in Blue Grass. He died Sept. 22, 2010.
Carol enjoyed going to Lake of the Ozarks and Canada to fish and enjoyed camping in her younger years. She was also a member of the 3/30 Club in Lowden.
Survivors include a son, Dan of Tipton; three grandchildren, Hannah, Christopher and Connor; and a brother, Dave (Bev) Dahl of Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Tim.
