Carol Ann Norris, 78, of Shawnee, Kan., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at home with family.
Per her request, no services will be held.
Carol was born to John and Dorothy (Zabronsky) Hathaway in Cedar Rapids on Dec. 24, 1940. She was united in marriage to Larry Norris on June 30, 1961. Carol worked at Coe College and Northwestern Bell and
as a homemaker. Carol's greatest passions were being with family and reading a good book. She will be missed by everyone who met her and especially her family.
Survivors include her husband, Larry; children, Chris (Rick) Whitson, Brett (Candy) Norris and Vicky Mann; brothers, Mark (Ada) Hathaway and Larry (Kim) Hathaway; grandchildren, Mitchell Whitson, Leandra Whitson, Andrea Norris, Taylor Mann, Avery Mann; and great-grandchild, Pheonix Bowers.
She was preceded in death by brother, Richard Hathaway; parents, John and Dorothy Hathaway; and grandchild, Ron Bowers.
