Carol Ann Beckman, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital. Private graveside services at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; her mother, Shirley Rahn; sisters including Pamela (Barry) Norden; and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Michelle, in 2014.
Carol Ann was born Sept. 1, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Winfred and Shirley (Van Dyke) Rahn. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1969.
Carol Ann married Jerry L. Beckman on March 29, 1992, in Cedar Rapids. She was a psychology tech at the Abbe Center for more than 30 years, retiring in 2018.
Carol Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music, sewing and the time spent with Jerry (the love of her life) and her pet Rottweiler, Books.
Carol Ann forever will be remembered as a loving, caring and compassionate wife, daughter, sister and friend. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Carol Ann had their life enriched.
