Carol Lea Albrecht went home to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the age of 69 after a short illness. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids. A
visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Carol was born Nov. 6, 1945, in Stockton, Calif., daughter of Roy Leeper and Mary (Dennis) Muncus. She graduated from Solon High School and was a retired LPN nurse. She married Gary Albrecht on April 4, 1964.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Mount Vernon; her sons, Bret (Kris) Albrecht of Oxford and Bart Albrecht (Julie Morrow) of Waterloo; her daughters, Renee (Rodney) Hoeppner of Marion and Dawn Albrecht of Mount Vernon; a brother, Roy Leeper; a sister, Dana Wellington; 10 grand-children; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy.
