Carl L. Berg, 60, of Oxford, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018.

Carl Leonard Berg was born on Jan. 11, 1958, in Iowa City, the son of Roy and Marilyn (Young) Berg. Carl enjoyed things simple in life, hanging out at the Oxford Legion, at "The Depot" shooting pool, playing cards, and spending time with his friends and brother, Lenny. Carl also was gifted with the ability to do artwork: drawing, painting and other forms which he often shared with family and friends.
His family includes his three siblings, Earl Berg (Amy), Roy L. Berg III "Lenny" and Tina Kilburg (Lynn); and nieces and nephews, Heather Hassett (Ryan), Abbie Hobbick (Deke), Cory Berg (Callie), Breanna, Brooke and Trevor Kilburg, and Serena Levy.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and his niece's husband, Henry Levy.
