CARL HEISERMAN
North Liberty
Carl Heiserman, 44, of North Liberty, formerly of Manchester and Independence, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, in Iowa City. Celebration of Life: 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Pin Oak Pub & Event Center, 2266 185th Ave., Manchester.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny Dreckman-Heiserman; brother, Kristian Wendland (David); sisters, Christine Cortez, Carolyn (Mike) Wolter and Cathy (Carl) Wickman; his mother, Marjorie Heiserman; a niece, Julia (Barry) Moriarity; a nephew, Joel Wickman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Heiserman.
Carl married Jenny on Oct. 27, 2016. Carl served many years as a volunteer on the Manchester Fire Department as well as a bus driver for the West Delaware and Independence school districts.
