Jarnagin, Caren L. (Ohlen), age 81, of Eagan, MN, passed away October 6, 2024. She lost her fight with dementia/covid. Preceded in death by parents George and Louise (Eckert) Ohlen; an infant sister; a niece, Becky and a brother, Larry. Raised on a Iowa farm and Class of ’61. Her husband took her from coast to coast as a Navy wife. She was a devoted Hawkeyes fan, enjoyed bowling, spent times at the summer cabin where she developed many lasting friendships; but especially enjoyed her two grandchildren.
Survived by husband of 60 years, Gene; children Debra and David (Lakeville, MN); grandchildren Chloe and Brady; brother Robert (Jean); sister in law Darlene (Blairstown, IA) and many other relatives. Funeral service in her honor will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 1930 Diffley Road, Eagan, on Tuesday October 15 at 11 am. Visitation one hour prior with luncheon to follow. Grave site service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 7825 21st Ave., Blairstown, on October 21 at 11 am. Luncheon and fellowship to follow at Grace Lutheran Church, 100 Locust St. SW.
