Campbell, Sharon K.

Sharon K. Campbell, 68, of Independence, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 16, 2013, at her home in Independence.

Sharon was born Aug. 3, 1944, in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Oris and Helen (Thomas) Evers. She attended the Rowley Schools and Pixie's Beauty Academy in Waterloo. She was united in marriage to Herbert Richard Roloff on Dec. 23, 1961, in Independence. She owned and operated First Lady Style Salon in Independence. Herbert died Feb. 2, 1989. On April 23, 1993, she was united in marriage to H. Scott Campbell at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. The couple made their home in Independence.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Campbell, Independence; six children, Terresa (Lonnie) Bloomquist, Promise City, Brent Roloff, Oelwein, Kim (Chad) Corcoran, Waterloo, Bart (Tracey) Campbell, Independence, Karin (Eric) Bauer, Iowa City, and Jennifer Campbell, Center Point; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Neuman, Janesville, and Doris Guge, Rowley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Herbert Richard Roloff.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, with the Rev. Sheri Andersen officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
