Camilla G. Webber, 82, of rural Palo, died Saturday, May 17, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, following a short illness. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 20, at Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, where friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Covington, at a later date.
Survivors include her children, Larry (Bert) of Tama, Colleen Lewis of Cedar Rapids, Steven (Crystal) of Palo and Donald of Palo; grandchildren, Matthew Lewis and Lori (Stevie) Barrett and Sean (Krista) and Nicholas Webber; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a
sister, Ella Riser of Cedar Rapids.
Camilla was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert (April 2014); and four brothers.
Camilla Grace was born Aug. 30, 1931, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Francis Elmer and Elsie Mickelson Buker. She married Robert "Bob" Webber on April 9, 1950, in Cedar Rapids. She worked in the packing department at Quaker Oats for seven years, retiring in 1972.
Camilla enjoyed making any type of craft, ceramics and jigsaw puzzles. Fishing and camping were some of her many joys. Following retirement, she and Bob wintered in Arizona for many years. Above all Camilla loved being with family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
