CALVIN "CAL" WOODARD

Calvin "Cal" Woodard, 74, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. A visitation for Cal will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello.
Calvin was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, on Nov. 12, 1946, the son of Charles and Doris (Dowd) Woodard. He married Dee Hyde on July 5, 1980, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Monticello. Cal loved fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; children, Kim (Kipp) Haverly of Anamosa, Stacy (Bob) Krumviede of Hopkinton, Stephanie (Matt) Pumphrey of Anamosa and Sara (Andy) Werner of Hopkinton; six grandchildren, Kenyon Haverly of Anamosa, Morgan Krumviede of Hopkinton, DeeAnna and Paige Pumphrey of Anamosa, Aiden and Addison Werner of Hopkinton; and many siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Susan Woodard, Carolyn Simmons and Mike Woodard.
