Byrdena "Bea" Ione Williams, 95, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Private family services will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Bea is survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vivian Infield; brother, Leland Ramsey; and daughter, Phyllis Mills.
Bea was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Troy Mills, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Hilda (Elliott) Ramsey Sr. She graduated from Troy Mills High School. Bea retired from Rockwell Collins, where she was employed for many years. She enjoyed living independently with her beloved cat, Buddy, up until her short stay at Hospice House.
