Butz, Diana L.
Diana L. Butz, 52, of Vinton, formerly of Norway and Watkins, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2010. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Brian Dellaert officiating. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church parish center.
Diana was born Sept. 19, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, to Orville E. Butz and Virginia (Butterfield) Butz Carkhuff. She graduated from Norway High School and was presently employed by Goodwill Industries.
Diana is survived by her mother, Virginia; brothers, Rick (Teri McVey) Butz and Bruce (Tina) Butz; sister, Susie (Bret) Wagner; and nieces and nephews, Brandie, Ashley and Mitchell Butz, Peyton, Mallory and Phoebe Wagner.
Preceding her in death were her father, Orville; stepfather, Les Carkhuff; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
