Butikofer, Dennis Lee
Dennis Lee Butikofer, 76, of Elkader, passed away late Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnn; his children, DeAnn (Greg) Banks of Paola, Kan., and Jamie (Liz) Butikofer of Clarksville, Ga.; six grandchildren, Emma and Sarah Banks of Paola, Kan., and Jacob, Madison, Samuel and Sidney Butikofer of Clarksville, Ga.; sister, Sheryl Schroeder of Clermont; brother, Larry Butikofer of West Union; one niece; and three nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader, and one hour before services Saturday at the church. Inurnment will be at East Side Cemetery in Elkader.
Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader is in charge of arrangements.
