Bush, Juanita May
Juanita May Bush, 72, of Solon, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, John E. Bush; a daughter, Kendra L. Hjorth and husband Brian of St. Louis, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Connor and Josie Hjorth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Nathan Bush; and a brother, Lloyd Dean Hite.
Juanita was born on May 11, 1938, in Iowa City, the daughter of Lloyd and Viola Hite. She married John E. Bush on Oct. 10, 1959 in Cedar Rapids. Juanita was a teller for Merchants National Bank. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church where she was active in church groups. She enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening and many friends.
