Buresh, Duane G.
Duane G. Buresh, 69, of Oxford Junction, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Lahey Funeral Home, Oxford Junction. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction.
Duane George Buresh was born July 31, 1943, in Oxford Mills, Iowa, to George and Joyce M. (Jones) Buresh. He graduated from Mechanicsville High School. He served in the Army in Vietnam. In 1985, he married Dorothy Hoselton.
Duane was an over the road semi truck driver for the last 40 years. In later years, he hauled fresh flowers coast to coast.
Duane enjoyed NASCAR, watching sports and driving his semi.
He is survived by one son, Matthew Buresh of Midwest City, Okla.; two sisters, Nancy Slouha of Oxford Junction and Virginia (Richard) Pace of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, a brother-in-law and his ex-wife.
Memorials are preferred.
