Bruce Gosnell passed away Sept. 28, 2017, in Mountain Home, Ark., at age 83.
He was born May 22, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Esther Feiersen Gosnell. He graduated from McKinley High School and Iowa State University. He married Barbara Pease on Aug. 7, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, and retired as a major from the U.S. Air Force. Bruce lived in Mountain Home since moving from Rapid City, S.D., in 1982. He was a member of the local fishing club and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Bruce is survived by his two sons, Gary Gosnell and Ronald (Belinda) Gosnell, both of Mountain Home; daughter, Nancy (Michael) Paris of Whitewood, S.D.; son-in-law, Chris Apa of Rapid City; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Sharon Apa; and great-granddaughter, Andie Jane Apa.
Burial will be in the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date.
