Bulten, John
John Bulten, 65, of Alburnett, died June 24, 2011, at his home. Per John's request, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time. Instead, an informal celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; and three sons, Tod Bulten of Cedar Rapids, and Trevor and Troy Bulten, both of Bettendorf.
John was born Sept. 30, 1945, in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of John and Margaret (Walton) Bulten. On June 2, 1987, John was united in marriage to Patricia J. Dalessandro in Cedar Rapids. He worked as a truck driver for 20 years, most recently for Croell Redi-Mix.
