Buhr, Gloria A.
Gloria A. Buhr, 85, of Oelwein, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 9, 2010, at Bartels Lutheran Home in Waverly. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein, with the Rev. Leo Combs-Lay officiating. The family will greet friends for one hour before the service Friday at the church. Inurnment: 2 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Gloria is survived by her four daughters, Ann (Fred) Jens of Maynard, Barbara (Leon) Treptow of Sumner, Sharon (Steve) Pattison of Overland Park, Kan., and Patricia (James) Larson of Oelwein;
12 Grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Lois) Rosenthal of Cotton, Minn.; and
sister, Shirley Dodd of Waverly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Rueben, on Aug. 11, 1994.
