Buckner, Robert
Robert Buckner, 59, formerly of Monticello, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a long and courageous battle with bladder cancer.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at the First Presbyterian Church, Monticello, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Al Polito will officiate at the services. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello. Thoughts, memories and condolences may be left at . In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
