Buck, Lowell Walter
Lowell Walter Buck, 45, of Madison, Wis., formerly of La Porte City, died Oct. 26, 2010, in Sun Prairie, Wis. Celebration of Life gathering will be held Nov. 20, at the La Porte City Country Club from 1 to 5 p.m.
Survivors include his loving friend, Kenny Birdwell of Sun Prairie, Wis.; his father, Walter Buck of La Porte City; his stepfather, Bill Fleck of La Porte City; his brothers, Eric (Lisa) Buck of Waterloo, Boyd (Roxanne) Buck of Cedar Rapids, Toby Buck of Cedar Rapids and Trent Fleck of Minot, N.D.; his sisters, Loraina (Gary) Krop of La Porte City, Paula Gourley of Cedar Rapids and Amy and Bobbi Jo; his maternal grandmother, Maxine Stern of La Porte City; five nephews, Nathan, Lucus, Jeremy, Jarrett and Trevor; and two nieces, Zoie and Noelle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbra Jo Fleck; his maternal grandfather, Lloyd Stern; and his paternal grandparents, Ivan and Vera Buck.
Lowell will be remembered for his caring and warm personality, his smile that lit up the room and his love for family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.
