Bucheit, Gretchen
Gretchen Bucheit, 78, of Decorah, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home, Decorah. A memorial mass was held May 4, 2012, at St. Benedict Catholic Church with the Rev. Phillip Gibbs presiding. Schluter - Balik Funeral Home, Decorah, assisted.
Gretchen is survived by her husband, Claude Bucheit, Decorah; four children, Alyn (Mary Lou) Bucheit, Decorah, Claudette Bucheit, Decorah, Jenny (Gary) Klotzbach, Decorah, and Jody (Wendy) Bucheit, Waukon; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Madelyn Wise, Decorah, Martha (Jerry) Samuelson, Decorah, and Marian (Al) Schissel, Rice Lake, Wis.; two brothers, Gordon (Dorothy) Willson, Rice Lake, Wis., and Dennis (Mary) Willson, Marion; one sister-in-law, Joan Schissel; and one brother-in-law, Gerry Bucheit, both of Ossian.
