Brundrett, Carolyn Jean

Carolyn Jean Brundrett, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 10, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with the Rev. Chris Richards officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Survivors include her children, Christine (David) Zinser of Amana, Phillip (Traci) Brundrett Jr. of Cedar Rapids, and Steven (Patty) Brundrett of Hiawatha; and sisters, Joyce (Dennis) Chamberlain of Versailles, Mo., Sharon (Richard) Wilson of Grinnell, Patricia (Lee) Reedy of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sandra (Mike) Fruendt of Ladora.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip Sr.; and son, Roger.

Carolyn J. Campbell was born Dec. r 5, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ora & Bernice (McBurney) Campbell. She married Phillip Brundrett in September 1960 in Cedar Rapids. Phillip Sr. died in 1999.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
