Bruce William Richards, 70, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at his home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Bruce was born June 7, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William and Naomi (VanAusdall) Richards. He was a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids. Bruce participated in vocal and instrumental music at First Church of the Nazarene, where he was also a member.
He is survived by his brother, Roger Richards of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; an uncle, Robert (Geri) Richards of Van Meter, Iowa; and loving extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
