Bruce Edwin Robinson, 42, of Central City, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at his home. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at the funeral home with a visitation one hour before the service. Burial: Hazel Knoll Cemetery, rural Central City.
Survivors include his parents, Rita Collen and Michael Moore of Lisbon; father, George E. Robinson Jr. of Prairieburg; his fiancee, Marian Miller; children, Draya and Shianna Robinson and Devin and Darrian Conway of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Xylie Robinson and Mariah Conway; siblings, Lynn Robinson (Troy Minnaert) of Oxford Junction, George (Kristin) Robinson of Lisbon, Melissa (Nathan) McCormick of Morley, Cody Robinson of Prairieburg, Jessica Robinson (Jimmy Kholer) of Marion, Derric (Andrea) Petersen of Marion and Devon (Quinton) Bitner of Central City; grandparents, Joan (Robert) Bennett of Niantic, Conn., and Doris Robinson of Goshen, Conn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George E. Robinson Sr. and Edwin E. Collen; and stepmother, Susan Robinson.
Bruce was born Nov. 9, 1973, in Yuma, Ariz., to George Robinson and Rita Collen. He was a former member of the Central City Fire Department. Bruce was an avid mushroom hunter. He loved anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping.
Bruce was a hard worker and he lived by his own rules. He loved and was loved by his many friends and family.
