Bruce Lathol Guy, 62, of Brighton, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at McCreedy Home in Washington.
Christian Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Following the Mass, his body will be cremated and interred at a later date in the Sandyhook Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington.
Memorials in the name of Bruce Lathol Guy have been established for the Brighton Fire Department and Hospice Compassus of Washington, Iowa.
Survivors include his father, Lathol, of Washington; brother, Phil Guy (Toni Horning) of Brighton; sister, Denise Guy Himes, of Central City; four nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2005 and sister, Brenda.
